A N D I ‘ M D O N E
30/30 sessions are now completed!! We are finally here, I can’t believe it. Another hurdle crossed in this shitty nightmare.
No more radiation. No more climbing on to that bed. No more getting strapped into that face mask. Hallelujah.
Time to go home and start living normally until the next phase begins come May with Chemotherapy. But first it’s time to celebrate with Seany!! Cocktail this afternoon followed by Rockpool for dinner 🙌🏼🎉. It’s been quite the journey to get here, we’ve been living away from our boys every week. To be back with them permanently is going to be oh so special.
Although my journey is sadly far from over. At least this is another step closer to tackling this a-hole!! One step at a time, I WILL beat this.
Please keep all your positive thoughts coming my way. Tumour you’re going down 👊🏼. My blog is also about to come live in the coming week. Apologies on the delay. I’ll let you know when if you’re interested in reading along. To those who have tried to access already, apologies. I wanted to make sure it was right first, and I haven’t had the time lately to do it.
A couple of photos for you of my now complete radiation journey. Quite the mask hey?! Thank god our relationship is over.
A big thanks also to the lovely radiation team at Peter Mac, you’ve been wonderful.
Love, Don x
